The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the private sector are supporting tech-entrepreneurs in African emerging economies. The German International Cooperation (GIZ) is commissioned to implement the piloting project “Make-IT in Africa” over a two-year period.
The Make-IT Alliance aims at supporting start-ups that develop innovative ideas for local and global challenges. Through this cooperation, tech entrepreneurs receive better access to:
reliable business partners and markets (“Go-to-market”)
- science and research
- trainings, mentors and consultants
- accelerators
- networks and exchange of expertise
- funding
- effective infrastructure
Doowe Gas had a meet with the German Chambers of Commerce at LeadSpace on Tuesday 14th March, to have first hand information about the Make-IT Alliance Project.
