Attend the Nigeria Off-Grid Investment Opportunities Workshop by Energy Mix Hub (EMH) in partnership with the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN)

The Nigeria Off-Grid Investment Opportunities Workshop which is organised by (EMH) in partnership with the Renewable Energy Association of Nigeria (REAN), is designed to bring professionals in the solar/off grid sector together to discuss prevailing issues, foster business relationships, explore opportunities and engender profitable long lasting connections within the sector. All of this will be occurring on Wednesday the 25th of July, 2018 at the Oriental Hotel, Lagos.
The workshop aims to build up each participant’s overall understanding of this important area and will enable each participant to get an understanding of:

Viable opportunities in Nigeria’s off grid market
Off-grid electrification entry strategies – stand-alone systems or mini grids
Challenges in reaching Nigeria’s most underserved populations
The role of the Nigerian public sector (Rural Electrification Agency, NERC) in the development of the national solar pv sector for growth
Opportunities presented by government developmental partners (W’Bank, DFID etc)
Access to Rural Electrification Fund
Overview of Nigeria’s mini grid regulations
Contractual issues in project implementation
How to improve the bankability of off grid projects
What local commercial banks/financial institutions are looking for in projects

We strongly recommend that professionals working in investment firms, private sector institutions, banks, financial institutions, solar companies, power (generation and distribution) companies, law firms, government agencies and regulatory bodies, international and local support agencies, as well as other development institutions, attend as they would gain invaluable experience at this workshop.
