DOOWEGAS is glad to announce that we have been selected as one of the finalists for the world LPG Challenge 2021. DooweGas is a company dedicated to providing LPG transport within and outside Nigeria. The core of our identity is to ensure LPG transport safety through innovative measures via our application that connects LPG vendors and sellers to their customers seamlessly.
The World LPG Association (WLPGA) holds an annual Global Technology Conference (GTC) where the best are selected by a steering committee from around the world creating new opportunities for innovative companies in the LPG industry on a global platform. This year’s host is the ENOC Group who also happens to be the official integrated energy partner of Expo Dubai 2020.
The World LPG Challenge 2021 will take place in Dubai during the LPG Week from the 5th of December to the 9th of December 2021. It is a start-up competition launched by the World LPG Association (WLPGA) designed to seek fresh solutions to challenges facing the LPG industry. Energising Tomorrow is the proposed tag for this year LPG WEEK where the select winners and runners up of the LPG Challenge are wholly selected based on the technicality and innovativeness of their papers and presentations. Past winners of the LPG challenge include; ENEOS Globe (Tokyo, Japan), CERES Power, PRINSAUTOGAS, QUEMPIN and many more notable gas companies.
James Atiti, CEO of DooweGas, considers the company’s giant stride to this last phase of the challenge to be one of the highlights of its achievements this year. The goal however is to receive the ultimate award and bring to present the Nigerian gas platform on a global one. The first-place award in this challenge consists of a financial incentive for the emergent winner company, a trip and a stay in India to attend the LPG world forum in 2022.
Also, a big congratulations to other selected finalists as we will all be competing for the first prize at the World LPG Forum.
